Linux Support: With over 11 years of Linux use here at Dare Computer, we've learned a lot, and enjoy sharing. The Linux operating system, now with the backing of big business, moves forward at warp speed. It's an exciting worldwide movement, so jump in.

Rebuilt Computers: Selected used desktops and notebooks, carefully evaluated and rebuilt by A+ Certified technician. First we bring memory and hard drive up to current standards and thoroughly test each. Then we install either Linux or Windows, or both.
New & Used PC Parts: We stock many parts in the course of our repair business, both new and used. Selected new parts, and certified used parts are available. Typically we have memory, video cards, network cards, firewire cards, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW.

| We support MS Windows users, with a remote access tool called Crossloop. Clicking on the "Share Screen" button below will lead you through the installation of the software on your Windows computer. Then, with your explicit permission, we can connect our computer to yours and see what you see, or even operate your computer using our keyboard and mouse. You can imagine the driving time that this technology has saved us! That means that we can work at lower rates, and it even makes 5 or 10 minute jobs well worth doing. |

Here at Dare Computer, we use Linux computers for our daily work, and have enjoyed doing so since 2001. We've also introduced several dozen users of all types to Linux. We appreciate the freedom that it offers, including freedom to cruise the web without fear of infections. Every 6 months, it takes a leap forward, with new features and more polish.
